Based on nothing, it was a deflection because he has no arguments and he was presented with the harsh reality that he might not be as smart as he thinks he is.
And if that is true, then what else has he been wrong about in life?

Well the ego cant allow for that sorta thinking, so he needed to deflect
So he choose Trump, the guy that's worth 3.6billion, but apparently hes just sooooooooooo stupid.

It's weird because I enjoy him as an actor. I'll still watch whatever he's in because I find his craft way better than even the most outspoken Liberals in Hollywood but it looks like he's painted himself in a corner with his beliefs so his movie/tv roles have diminished. This all started when he was actually on a plane with the original 9-11 hijackers doing a test run before the deed. It seems to have spooked him into a reactionary. He's not really a conservative either. That's the joke the Republican party likes to play with voters is that they stand for something bigger than themselves.

The guy your replying to doesn't really get it,
Republicans/MAGA types are independent people, they want small government, less social security, less taxes, more independence away from the government, less red tape.
However republicans/MAGA knows how important community is, and being together and family bonds, and family units because thats how society is built

It's because it's trendy to think Conservatives are the "bad team". The media, Hollywood, sports, corporate branding, the government, academia, and higher education all have raised an entire generation to think the same way. And like the sheep that they are, they do it thinking they're the "free thinkers" of society. It's like watching a Greek tragedy before my very eyes.
