Can he make a comeback?

I know this sounds silly, but hear me out.

If all charges against him are dropped, both in America and in the UK, and if Kevin goes on TV and apologizes profusely. Says that he did things he regret, but he is not an evil person and that he apologizes from the bottom of his heart, crying and begs for forgiveness - the whole thing. And he appears REALLY remorseful. After all that...

Can he make a comeback?

reply

He should just deny everything, it's the new way of things, apparently.

reply

I think he could.

reply

Season 6 remake, confirmed.

reply

too early to say

Just today he was in talks about a new Childs Play film. Nothing is committed, it was just a sit-down with Seth Grahame-Smith. Good news for producers are that his fees have dropped to next to nothing. They touched on the Beetlejuice 2 film as well, with KS as Beetlejuice.

reply

It won't happen that fast. He has to publicly apologize first, imply he has changed and appear genuine about it.

reply

That's not hard, he's a great actor... to appear genuine is his bread and butter.

reply

Apologize from the bottom of his heart - maybe.
Cry and beg for forgiveness - never. It's not a manly thing to do even for a homosexual!
Me however I will embrace his comeback even without all that regrets stuff. It's always better to regret the things you've done than the things you didn't.

reply

I doubt it.

He basically confessed to touching a 14 yr old boy.

“Kevin Spacey has responded to allegations he made unwelcome sexual advances towards a 14-year-old actor, saying he did not remember the incident but if it did happen it was likely “deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour” for which he sincerely apologizes.”

reply

I know I will sound like I'm justifying his actions but his downfall should not be resting on this incident.
From what I've understood they were at a drunken party and Rapp was laying on a bed and Spacey stumbled in and jumped on the bed and left without incident at Rapp's protest.
I hate to say it but this would not have been considered so outrageous back in the day ..As a straight female I experienced much worse and I don't think I would come forward 40 years later to dissect their life over a drunken grope.
I'm much more disturbed by allegations of his snide arrogant behavior with his underlings on set.

reply

Only one charge drop due to a teen backing out. But would anyone wanna be around him after everything? Can he lead a normal life after a sexual misconduct scandal?

reply

Well, Roman Polanski is still working...

reply

He's in France, he would only be in a country who won't arrest him.

reply

Well Poland, Switzerland, Brussels, Spain, and a few other countries won't. They think the United States is being ridiculous about not officially ending his case based on Samantha Geimer's supporting Polanski. So there's that. I mean when the Polish and the Swiss refused to extradite him she wrote letters of thank you to them for not kowtowing to America. So there's also that.

reply

Idk about France and Poland, but the Swiss... we cannot trust the Swiss. They are protecting evildoers' moneys for a living. That's what they do best.
