What was your FIRST Arnie movie?

Not the first you liked but the first Arnold Schwarzenegger film you ever saw. Mine's:

Eraser (1996) - I think I was like 8 or 9 when I first saw it. Yeah, our parents didn't really care for film ratings back then. Looking back, I saw a lot of Mature/R-rated films growing up.

Anyways, That film just made me a huge fan of his. But after growing up, I just forgot about it. Except for bits & pieces. I especially remembered the crocodile scene. That scene always stayed with me. Thought it was cool as hell

And for some reason, I never thought of just googling it. The thought just never crossed my mind. Anyways, a couple of years ago, I caught the movie on tv. A solid action flick in my opinion. Mostly holds up.

T2, followed by Kindergarten Cop. T2, especially, left a huge impression on me, before I was even aware that there was a T1. I watched it several times on VHS and I like to watch it when it's on TV.

I didn't even watch the original Terminator until like 2 years ago. Holds up way better than I thought it would. Absolutely amazing film. Also loved how it basically plays like a slasher film.

T2 is hands down one of my favorite films of all time. I said this in another post but it's the film I've seen the most times. At this point, I've lost count of the number of times I've seen it.

It's one of the most perfect films out there in my opinion. Absolutely everything about it just works

I think I first saw bits of Commando at a very young age. Probably the first one I saw all the way through was Kindergarten Cop.

"Conan the Barbarian".

My brain was unimpressed by that stupid movie, but there's a few other organs that gave him a, uh, thumbs up!

I totally get what you mean. The movie did have a really cool.... sword

Conan the Barbarian for sure. I loved it as a kid and I still think it’s a great film now.

I LOVED ARNOLD AS A KID...BUT T2 AND KINDERGARTEN COP ARE THE TWO THAT REALLY FLOORED ME.

Terminator.

I barely remember Arnie in 1979's Scavenger Hunt, it was basically an all star ensemble movie similar to It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. I saw it on cable when I was on 14, there were so many cheap jokes it really was pretty funny since I was so young. I bet it's completely unwatchable now.

Terminator. Saw it in the theater. I think I was 10. I don't think we thought it would be so gory. I remember being grossed out at him operating on himself. I distinctively remember thinking "they killed a dog" in the future scene. Funny what you remember!
