Bill Murray has long been known as one of HOLLYWEIRD'S BIGGEST JERKS!

you know that character he played in SCROOGED? That wasn't a character. That's Bill.

The guy is a jerk.

Pompous, arrogant, prone to anger and fits of rage.

He got into a fight with Chevy Chase on SNL back in the 70s!

He threw an ashtray at Richard Dreyfus on the set of WHAT ABOUT BOB in the 90s!

He was so digusting to Lucy Lu that he wasn't asked to come back for CHARLIES ANGELS PART 2!

So he's an insufferable Son of a Bitch who has finally had his commupence being kicked off this movie.

It's been a long time coming. I mean, Gerald Ford was in office when he started being a shit on set!

Bill Murray has had some class roles, but its time for the old alcoholic to go into retirement.

If we want to see him, we'll put on Groundhog Day!

If you want the genius, it comes with a price with BM. He can be very unpredictable. He can also be amazing.

To your very point, when a studio hires BM, they know they’re rolling the dice. They know this upfront.

Divas, cads, jerks, etc....have been on movie sets since day one of making movies. A movie set can be an incredibly emotional and intense environment. People fall in love on set. People fall in hate of one another. People get in fights, etc.

If you want to see something interesting, be on a movie set when someone is method acting...where they’ll scowl and swear at everyone just to stay in character and keep that anger.

A movie set is an altered universe....and it’s not always a good environment for the meek or delicate.

Genius?

I can't think of one funny thing this guy has ever said (in a movie or otherwise?) He seems to have that Robin Williams fan-following of everyone laughing at his gibberish (despite it *not* being funny)

reply

Like, that's just your opinion man.

reply

Aaaaaaaand, you know this.... personally?

reply

i think he's a good man. my --

You've never gotten into a fight with someone? You must be like 1% of the population.

People have disagreements all the time and there are normally two sides to the story, not to mention the distortion that comes from the way things get reported. Three disagreements over a long career isn't that big a number, really.

Chevy Chase was a well known diva and ass at SNL. Murray called him out and they had a shouting match in the corridor where Bill called him a "medium talent". So what.

Dreyfus is also known to be fiery tempered with many on set fights. He was even fighting with Robert Shaw on the set of Jaws. So what.

Murray and Lucy Liu didn't see eye to eye. So what? How dare he disagree with a woman!

Shock horror, a fEmAlE wOmAn!.

Two people don't get along! He called her a "shit actor", he's partly right. She's not a great actor.

reply

Bill, is that you?

reply

Oh hi Chevy!

Richard Dreyfus and especially Chevy Chase both have histories of on set feuds and tempers. And how was he disgusting to Lucy Liu.From what i've heard of the feud he simply called her out on being a bad actor. He's not wrong. She's gotten by mainly on her looks.Murray has always been unpredictable and brash. It was only a matter of time before some woke no sense of humor infant would take offense and cry into their social media.

Stop attaching impromptu links in your posts. Put a space between the fucking period and the next sentence, PLEASE.

"Stop attaching impromptu links"

What links?

"Put a space between the fucking period and the next sentence, PLEASE."

Didn't realize it til you pointed it out but i guess every does this.

"What links?"
"Didn't realize it til you pointed it out but i guess every does this."
I mean the same thing. It's not really anyone's fault, but MC tends to think that a period between two words with a space either side is a link address, so it makes them clickable. You're not the only one who doesn't put the space after the period, I've seen this phenomenon before, but it's easily solvable... or ignorable.

reply

Yeah i see what you mean with link where the brash.it is in blue. Never noticed it before. Thanks for the heads up. I'll start putting the space in.

he might be, but one time his accountant turned into a dog and he helped him.

reply

He also didn't speak to Harold Ramis until he was on his death bed over some arguments when making Groundhog Day.

Yes, him acting badly on set is not breaking news.
