what's your favorite old 1980s weird Steve Martin movie?

today I'm watching All of Me on Tubi and its been a long long time since i ever saw that movie when it used to be on HBO all the time back then.

That along with Man with Two Brains and Dead Men Dont Wear Plaid. Those movies were pretty weird

Loved All Of Me. Planes, Trains And Automobiles and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels are great too.

"Planes, Trains & Automobiles" and "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" are my favorites. "Pennies from Heaven" is a bizarre, depressing novelty worth seeing at least once.

"Roxanne", which is more sweet and charming than weird. But it's a fave!

Martin was always a better writer than an actor.

I really like The Lonely Guy (84).

Not so much weird as it is a original concept for a movie that would not have ever been made if Steve Martin didn't exist..you can say that for a number of his films, but this one especially comes to mind as being unsellable in the movie industry.

It is a film really more relevant than ever as the mating game is increasingly being played on dating apps, with the vast majority of young men find out that women only pick the top tier men, leaving them dateless and lonely 🥺.

My favorite Steve Martin movie is "All Of Me". The whole cast was perfect in their respective roles, but Steve and Lily shone the brightest.
