Nah, that beard was too much. The look he has going now suits him for 67. No more dying his hair. Silver Fox with beard—distinguished and cool….kinda how Connery aged.
(Although NOBODY ages quite as well as Connery did!)
ikr.. he had an incredible look in his later years - bearded and bald if supporting role (Untouchables/Indiana Jones) or wig if the leading man (Hunt For Red October/The Rock). just so different to his Bond look of the 60s which he redid for the 80s Never Say Never (last time he appeared with the clean shaven 007 look) and he still had the 'sexiest man alive' heartthrob status well into his late 60s! (and starred with a young Catherine Zeta Jones in Entrapment aged 69)

When he was younger, particuarly in the late 70's/early to mid 80's - Mad Max, Gallipoli, The Bounty etc - he was a good looking fella, easily one of the best looking male movie stars of all time, but he didn't age well. In Lethal Weapon 4, he was only 42, and he looked about mid 50's.
Probably too much booze and Australian sun when he was younger.
