What do I do you ask?? I'd ask her what her major malfunction is after a year of speaking to one another every day and for her to get her head examined if it's some flimsy excuse? Aren't you the one who keeps posting threads like this when you've offended your co-worker, you're insistent on asking her out when she wants 0 to do with you and has told you so but you keep pushing it??
Be sad, but respect her decision, as you can never know every aspect of what influenced that decision. Besides, no one is entitled to anyone else's time or attention or an explanation for the withdrawal of both, no matter how much it may hurt.
shareThis is why I always thank a woman for whenever she talks to me, even as a friend. I know she doesn’t have to talk to me but I’m grateful and lucky she does. She can leave anytime and there’s nothing I can do about it.

shareYeah, that’s a good point. Friendship from both guys and girls alike is something to treasure. But personally, I place extra value on a woman’s time because it feels more hard to come by. Not to say I don’t appreciate the fellas though.
shareHappened in a similar way to me some 35 years ago.
Met her at work, saw her every day at work, after a few weeks we started speding time together outside of work almost every day, but never went for more.
Kept going for about a year, then one day she quit her job and told me she cannot spend time with me anymore, didn't give a reason, but I figured she must have met some other man who would mind if she met me all the time.
Never seen her again.
Sad, but that's just it. To this day I'm wondering where she is or what she might be doing, whether or not she would even remember me, but that's just curiosity.
