The best place to talk about issues related to sex?

Hey all, I'm just wondering what the right place to talk about sexual issues. I've posted a few things about sex here in the past but they were deleted.

REDDIT

reply

I'm a member of reddit, but it's kinda hard to have discussions there...also have to deal with the whole likes/disikes thingy.

reply

There are tons of subs on reddit, there must be one about sex that's not that judgmental and where the mods ban any jerks.

reply

Heh, guess I'll look for one then.

reply

Just give it a try and post something. It's anonymous anyway. If you get stupid troll responses, you can just ignore it. Fuck em.

reply

Okay!

reply

If you have serious questions or issues, it's hard to get serious answers, there are just too many jerks out there posting weird replies under such a question.
Best option is probably on YT, search for a video that deals with the general topic you're interested in and post your question in a comment underneath, just make sure you keep your language under control, because YT deletes/censors/ghosts comments that seem to be remotely inappropriate for minors. They're by now so strict that they not only ghost comments with the word "sex" in it, but also "s3x", "s*x", and more.

reply

That's probably a good idea, but I heard Youtube comments can also get nasty....

reply

Yes they can, but just like your comments get ghosted when you use the wrong words, nasty comments get ghosted as well.

This forum will be suitable

Ah cool! Thanks for the heads-up! I will look into it!

No problem.

I don’t see why we can’t discuss sex here. It’s a fundamental part of life and should be discussed openly without embarrassment or censorship.

It really surprises me that you have had sex related discussions deleted. I know your posting style well and know you wouldn’t be posting stuff that demeans women or people of other sexual preferences. Seems an extremely selective form of moderation when you consider the thread based on anal rape has been a constant in the GD section for the past few months with no sign of intervention. Makes you wonder.

reply

Yeah, I can see why you'd be surprised. But I guess I posted stuff that was kinda explicit for a younger audience (not offensive but perhaps something that isn't for a younger audience to read.)

reply

Well that makes sense, I guess this isn’t exactly the place for explicit sex talk. Still, the inconsistency stands, especially since the post I mentioned flagrantly ignores the other rule here about no trolling or flaming members. It was obviously posted with that singular intention and yet it lives on and on. I can’t get my head around it.

reply

Well said.

reply

It's really baffling and inconsistent about what gets deleted or left up, here. But hey, it's not my decision, so whatever.

Signed, million man.

reply

Is there an online version of the Penthouse Forum? That's where I used to go. 😁

reply

I dunno. I guess what PersistentViewer posted is the equivalent? I dunno.

reply

I see no reason why one cannot post about sex on MovieChat as long as there is no obscenity. Hell, if you can post it on Redditt, you should be able to post it here.

Some of the folks on this thread seem hellbent on limiting free speech here. Not good and no way to help MovieChat grow.

reply

I agree.

If it wasn't obscene, why was it deleted?

And if you can post it on Reddit, then why not here? No one can tell me that Reddit is adults only.

reply

It was about masturbation. Beats me.

reply

Good one. 🤣

reply

That was unintentional, but you got me!

reply

Haha. I wasn't sure if you realized it or not!

reply

A whore house.

reply

If I can get it up, that is.
