shareShogun of Yonkers and I have had a heated battle going on for years on this board. He recently extended an olive branch to end the feud. I was cautious at first, because it's happened before and didn't work out. I was testing his sincerity on a day by day basis, and lo and behold...it does seem to be working this time. And he's right, we actually have things in common. So, there's that.

I didn't want to admit it while we were fighting. ๐ My closest brother and I used to fight frequently, but when it came to a common enemy, the solidarity was there. "Blood is thicker than water." We're scrappers, we like our beer. It was inevitable we'd end up on a collision course but it looks like it's over with now, and it feels good to me.

Nyctc, you make me laugh with your often funny links, but even more than that, I admire how you love the sound of gentle rain, that you enjoy walking along the river near your home and that you have a love of birds like I do.
