Your favorite Muppet

... and why?

I particularly like Beaker. He's just got a way about him and I feel like he gets me.

reply

MY ANSWER....NO LIE........BEAKER.

reply

Among other things I identify with how accident prone he is. While we've been at Disney World this week I almost got on a ride with the wrong family and later that day almost fell into a boat.

reply

You strike me more of a Sweetums guy.

reply

HAD TO GOOGLE...LOL...OK...THAT MAKES SENSE....GOOD CALL.

reply

Well, I'm not going to say Beaker if everyone else is going to say Beaker... although I do really like Beaker.

Can I have two together, because it'd be unfair to separate them: Statler and Waldorf.

reply

Absolutely. They're a package deal. I like them a lot, too. They're my younger son's favorites. He has a t-shirt and a beach towel with them on it.

reply

They taught me everything I know about how to watch a movie.

reply

Fozzie Bear would be mine. When we were kids, my brother got a little Fozzie Bear Hand Puppet toy for Christmas and we had so much fun with that.

One of the most innovative sports fan signs I've ever seen was one when the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team had a hot rookie pitcher named Michael Wacha. Some fan made a sign (and the TV networks showed it a lot during the playoff coverage that year) with Fozzie Bear on it saying "Wacha Wacha!" (A little play on words from Fozzie's trademark phrase "Wocka Wocka!"). That was really clever!

reply

That is very clever!

Fozzie's a good guy. When I was little I had a Muppets record album and I used to love to sing along to "Movin' Right Along" which featured Fozzie prominently.

reply

Rowlf the Dog.

I like his personality and musical ability.

reply

That's another song that was on my Muppets record album as a child. "Can't live with 'em, Can't live without 'em, There's something irresistible-ish about 'em". 🎹🎶

I still remember the words!

reply

Rowlf was a cool dog. I'll go with him too.

reply

Animal - great drummer!

reply

As a child I think Animal scared me a little. I was a mild little creature.

These days I sometimes identify with his insanity.

reply

I've always identified with his (ahem) "insanity". You've got to have some unbridled energy in order to be a drummer. https://tenor.com/search/tasmanian-devil-gifs

reply

Animal is a super cool dude. As a quiet little girl I just didn't understand him yet.

reply

Floyd Pepper

The hippie bass player.

Very funny.

reply

I don't think I ever knew his name until today. He's a cool dude!

reply

Too hard to pick a favorite: Rowlf, Animal, Beaker, Fozzy

Did you know the original version of Kermit the Frog was a violent psychopath??

reply

That sounds vaguely familiar about Kermit but I had completely forgotten. I had never seen that video, though. That was hilarious! 😂🤣
