I'm Going To Purchase A New Shark Vacuum

Because the $99.00 Hoover special from WALMART finally died after owning it only a year and my carpet looked filthy from it, but I borrowed my sister's Shark Vacuum and there is simply no comparison. I'll pay the extra $$$$$ for a good vacuum πŸ‘ Santa will bring me a New Shark Vacuum for Christmas πŸŽ„

I bought a Dyson for 600 bucks like over 15 years ago and it's still going strong.

Signed, million man.

We had a Shark vacuum and the battery cacked - piece of shit.

Dirt Devil for the win.

I had an entry-level Shark and it was very good while it lasted but it started to fail after about a year. I've had better luck than you with the entry-level Hoover. I've never owned a really expensive vacuum. Even the entry-level Riccar is more than I've ever paid. But I should add I've always lived in studio apartments. If I lived in a large apartment or a house I'd spend for a more expensive model.

I would be careful about buying a Shark vacuum cleaner. That company is notorious for making products that cannot be repaired. Such as if a belt goes bad you have to buy a whole new vacuum cleaner. Apparently you can’t easily open up the case without breaking it. There are youtube videos about it.

Wow!! Lot's of feedback. She swears by them and has 2 of them, but I'll definitely keep this in mind. I think Dyson is entirely too expensive at $600.00 a Vacuum is insanity

I bought a Dewalt a couple of months ago, and it kicks ass. My brother swears by his and he's had it for years. $200

Waste of money. The water will wash anything off of the shark just fine.

Vacuum cleaners are pretty much the same thing as most other technical devices these days.
The expensive ones last relative to their price less long than cheaper ones that have to be replaced with new ones frequently.
I bought some cheap Chinese vacuum cleaner for about $40 about 2 years ago, works fine and even if I have to replace it just after the warranty expires, for this price I can buy 15 of them before I reach the price of a Dyson.

I currently own a Shark Vac and have had several before this one. They are very good machines but they never seem to last very long. Fortunately, they are cheap, effective and lightweight.

Treat it like a government mule. Work it hard, put it away dirty and don’t get too attached…it’ll wear out within two years no matter what and then you’ll just get another.

Exactly! I have several Shark Vacs and love them because they go around and under furniture without having to move much. I usually buy them from QVC because they are always running specials and if I get 2 or 3 years out of one I'm happy.
