McDonald's pig-out
I ordered 2 Big Macs, Large Fries, Large Coke (a Large #1 plus an extra Big Mac)
$18.28 ($16.88 before tax)
Unreal
Have a very Merry Christmas!

Glutonous.
I am weak when it comes to junk food, so I won't judge.
Would you believe that in all my years of eating McDonald's...and I've eaten there A LOT...I have never once had a Big Mac?!
shareI was reminded how much I love the special sauce, I've never found a store-bought imitator that nails it.
sharefourlemons- Never ate a Big Mac? My dad used to call it “soup on a bun”.
Haven’t eaten there in years. The only reason I used to go there was because of all those annoying movie tie-ins aimed at little kids. My son had to have every little toy that was advertised. He didn’t even like the food that much.
My husband recently got a Big Mac that had so much sauce on it that it spilled all over the place, so I can see why your dad called it soup on a bun. 😁
I probably will try one one day. It's not that I don't think they'll taste good, there are just other things at McDonald's that I like to get instead. I like Chicken McNuggets and Filets o' Fish.
You eat like I do! 😃 Like Big Dan Teague said in "O' Brother, Where Art Thou!"... "I'm a man of large appetites!" 😃
If you have a cell phone, I would recommend downloading the McDonalds app and using it. Even if you don't eat at McDonald's all that much (my boys and I eat there often), the app really comes in handy when you use it. You can usually get a 20 percent discount on your order (if it's over $10) and you can accumulate points where you can redeem for free food. But, yes, prices have really skyrocketed here in recent years 😥.
Would you eat this?

Ja
This is the one I'm not sure about

You're okay with the caramel sauce? I'm seriously contemplating to give it a try.
A kroket on a bun is a very normal snack, but I wouldn't go with the McDonald's version. Not a lot of flavour and not much filling.
I've never had chicken and waffles, which is a popular regional dish in the US. I just assume the caramel is used instead of maple syrup (in other words it's supposed to have a sweet element).
shareI just had the burger. It was small, but only €2,50. It tasted exactly like what you'd expect, a McChicken with stroopwafel. The waffle bits were crunchy and the caramel sauce had a hint of cinnamon. Not incredible, but not bad either.
shareStroopwafel, from what I can see, is closer to a cookie than a waffle...? So in other words not what I would normally think of as chicken & waffles.
Sounds pretty good for the price.
No, it's not soft like a Belgian waffle, but thin and crunchy. I guess this is a Dutch version of the well-known Southern dish (which I actually once made myself).
To order it I had to download their app, which I will remove immediately.
One meal is almost 15 bucks now. Ridiculous. I avoid McDonald's as much as I can.
Signed, million man.
Burger King is better than McDonalds. They have a wider variety to choose from plus I just read that Shake Shack is officially voted the most expensive fast food which is saying alot when you consider how much FIVE GUYS cost??
shareBack when I ate fast food, I'd get 3 sandwich items. Like at McDonalds a Big Mac, a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and a Filet o' Fish. Or at Taco Bell a taco, a bean burrito, and a beef burrito. I'm lucky in that I never gain weight. I stopped doing that for health reasons though.
