πŸ¦ƒ AMERICAN THANKSGIVING IS COMING.

WHAT ARE YOU GONNA EAT?....AT HOME OR AT A RESTAURANT?

PAINT ME A PICTURE OF YOUR FEAST.

reply

Idk yet lol

reply

I BET YOU STUFF A BIRD REGARDLESS.

reply

Nope lol

reply

I had my family dinner last Sunday because that was the only day everyone could get together.

Very traditional - turkey, sage and onion stuffing, candied sweet potatoes, green beans, Mac and cheese, pumpkin pie. It's my favorite holiday and meal of the year.

reply

SOUNDS AWESOME....WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AGAIN?

reply

You'll have to ask the Ghost of Thanksgiving Past for assistance - it happened for my family last weekend, but there's always next year..............

reply

I have dinner at my sister's on Sunday at 3PM. I'm bringing the Corn Casserole and of course along with all the other Thanksgiving Fare. I just purchased a Thanksgiving Meal for a family of 4 and donated it to the Church I attend on Sunday for the homeless

reply

Home.

I only serve the foods the Pilgrims and Native Americans would have brought.

So everyone knows the Pilgrims would have served turkey, some root vegetables, and mac and cheese.

The NAs would have brought maize, lasagna, beans, and squash.

Neither brought that disgusting green bean casserole with the equally disgusting mummified "onion" topping, so that's out.

reply

YEAH...FUCK THOSE GREEN BEAN CASSEROLES...YUCK.

reply

LOL - I'm probably one of the least picky eaters you will ever meet, but I think Green Bean Casserole is just plain nasty.

reply

I am a firm believer in "home for the holidays" with a traditional turkey dinner.
I would never go to a restaurant on Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Save the holiday season.

reply

WHAT ARE YOU GONNA EAT?

Bennymuso's mom's... never mind.

reply

Crawfish bisque at my mom and dad’s house.

reply

THAT IS VERY DIFFERENT TO ME...BUT VERY APPROPRIATE.πŸ‘πŸ»

reply

Another occasion we don’t recognise or celebrate down here.

I always thought having Thanksgiving so close to Christmas was an odd placement.. don’t you crazy Americans have enough holidays already??

reply

IT IS STRANGE SO CLOSE TOGETHER...THANKSGIVING LOSES A LOT OF IT'S STEAM JUST BEING A BIG MEAL AMONTH BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

reply

You are an Aussie I presume...
Australians are held in very high regard here in The States. I've met quite a few of you. Salt of the Earth, decent folk, good allies and partners in times of war and peace. The Japanese would have a massive empire if not for our alliance and we thank you for that very much!

It's true, America collects holidays like a little kid putting sea shells in her bucket at the beach, it's just part of our national character. We don't want one slice, we want the whole damn pie lol. But we mean well just like you Aussies.

reply

His name is KiwiJim, so I think it's safer to presume he's a Kiwi - aka from New Zealand.

reply

Ha! I’ve been reading his handle as KwikJim lolπŸ˜„

reply

Hahaha that's Slim Jim's brother I assume lol
