Bro did a thing

Is this rapidly escalating trend to refer to people as "bro" pissing anyone else off?

reply

To be honest, I'm not hearing this from anyone

reply

I just hear it from kids. I feel like it's been here for years though.

Bro has been popular in SoCal for as long as I can remember so I’m used to it and use it myself 😁

I SAY BRO ALL THE TIME....WHAT'S THE PROBLEM,BRAH?

reply

Its changing though

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM,BRAH? is the traditional use as in thing being its being said from one person to another as a friendly reference like "pal" or whatever .

Now its used for 3rd party complete strangers - like the comments on a youtube video "Bro freaked out like a karen"
bro did this
bro did that

reply

The problem is, it's indoctrination, a tactic typically employed by cults, much like the childhood game of, "Simon says..."
