iconic actors you aren't a big fan of?

What are some all-time screen legends that you just aren't as crazy about as everyone else seems to be?

For me, Christopher Lee is a largely one-note actor who's given some excellent performances over the course of his career (Horror of Dracula, The Wicker Man, The Man with the Golden Gun) but who mostly just did adequate jobs in most of his films. I know he's cast more for his iconic screen persona than for his range as an actor but still, when you compare him to other horror legends like Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff, for instance, those guys had noticeably more range and depth to them than what Lee had.

I'm not trying to shit on the man as I've never hated any of his performances and from the stories I've heard about him, Lee seemed like quite a honorable, charitable guy. I'm just generally not that impressed by his screen presence as an actor.

What are some iconic actors that you aren't a big fan of?

Martin Landau was wonderful in Ed Wood, but other than that, another actor I think is a bit of a stiff.

George Clooney - plays the same smarmy ladies man in every movie. Way too up his own ass to be an 'everyman' which is what every good leading male actor should be.

Will Smith - plays the same 'my shit don't stink' character in every movie. No matter whether it's a pilot, cop, secret agent or boxer that's he's portraying, it's always the same variation of the same kind of cocky arrogance. He has zero range. Same goes for The Rock.

Will Ferrell - nothing about this guy or his movies is funny. I think Seth Rogen is a comic genius when compared to him.

All actors are overrated. They just dress up read the script.
Every other factor that goes into making a good film is just as important, except the story - which is more important.

That said , they all do their job just fine as far as i'm concerned , I cant think of one that if I saw the name on the cover I'd be "oh this'll suck" - unless the name is an indication that the other elements of the movie ( story , production value etc ) will suck.

So maybe Steven Seagall

Objectively, I think Joaquin is a fantastic actor, so this is not hate per se. I just find something off putting about him that I find difficult to watch when he's on screen.

Collin Farrell I just outright don't care for at all.
