Do you love it or loathe it?
I hate it. Fortunately for me, this year almost everyone has asked for vouchers so I'm not dreading it for once.
I used to love going into Birmingham to the German Christmas Market, but the past two years there have been so many randos asking if I've £1 to spare that it's really put me off wanting to go again.
I dislike shopping in general and do almost 100% of it online these days. I even have groceries delivered. I like to go out and do things but shopping is not one of them. My Christmas shopping will be all online if I can make it work out that way.
I do enjoy the online Christmas shopping though. I like picking out things for my kids especially.
Christmas shopping with my parents when I was a kid was fun. I miss the warm winter nights of going to the local stores and just walking through the malls window shopping.
Now, not so much. It has become too long, starting in October for Pete's sake!
For me, ever since I was a kid, the Christmas season always starts on Thanksgiving Day and ends on New Year's Day.
I don't Christmas shop anymore...I like the after-Christmas sales :)

I AM THE HOLIDAY'S IN THE FAMILY...I DO ALL THE SHOPPING...DECORATING...BAKING...WRAPPING...LITERALLY EVERYTHING...AND I AM KNOWN TO GO OVERBOARD...I HAVE NOT SLEPT ON A CHRISTMAS EVE IN LIKE 20 YEARS....THOUGH...AS ALI GETS OLDER I HAVE LESS ENERGY TO OVERCOMMIT TO THE INSANITY.

I don't mind it.
Problem when you get older is people need less stuff and it's more difficult to find something someone doesn't already have.
Kids are easy but we don't have many of those to buy for these days.
