I'm gonna do two tonight due to not making a post yesterday. They are my favorite band of all time...I grew up with their music and movies.

I agree with most of that, but Ringo's musical career has not been great. Good at times but also horrendous at times. He did give us "It Don't Come Easy" and "Photograph" though.

I can't stand being in the room if their music is playing. It all sounds like rotten, gutless, wimpy nursery rhymes to me.

I know what they were & what they did, but I'd rather listen to anything else.

Hey, you know what the best part of that rotten, gutless, wimpy nursery rhyme music was?? That the BEATLES actually sung their music unlike today's bubblegum music complete with lip syncing and back vocals to cover it up

you could say the same thing about every garage band that tried to write their own material that usually came out sounding like a sweet jane clone or whatever.

doesn't make the beatles sound any less miserable to me.

Don't forget the drum-machines, AI, computers, apps..... and with all that, the songs still suck! I mean if there was something great, it would spill to the national consciousness for more than 5 minutes. I like to ask people I see (or random folks online) if they can name any great new bands. When I get no answer, I ask if they can name ANY band and even that is difficult, even people I know in their 20s.

No other artist/group wrote as many great songs as The Beatles did. Paul was probably the best songwriter and overall musician. John was a great songwriter in his own right and probably the best singer. George was the best guitar player and developed into a great songwriter himself as he aged. Ringo is a better drummer than samoanjoes gives him credit for 😃...he was kind of "the glue" of the band and filled his role perfectly.

IMO, George Harrison was the "unsung hero" of The Beatles and a big reason why The Beatles' music still sounds so great today.

The BEATLES will always and forever be #1 plain and simple. There is simply not a song from the BEATLES that other bands haven't copied or tried their hand at and they are part of History, provided they even teach that in modern day

I hate their music, but not because they're a bad band.

As a kid,my music teacher was a huge fan of the beetles. So every song we sang/learned was beetle music.

No band could survive that kind of overexposure.
