I'm gonna do two tonight due to not making a post yesterday. They are my favorite band of all time...I grew up with their music and movies.

I understand how they changed music. I can appreciate the brilliance of the song writing. I don't dislike them, but I'm not really a fan, and I don't go out of my way to listen to them. They do have songs that I like, but they also have a lot of songs which do nothing for me.

Great band, in my Top 10, but actually like their solo stuff more, in the classic order - John, Paul, George (only like 2-3 songs by Ringo). I do wonder how they would have sounded in the 70s, but instead of one album every so often, we got 4.

I notice when I chat with younger people, that there's always one who knocks them because so many people like them. I just see it as a triumph for good taste (for a change!)
