Have you ever been described as "stuck-up"?
I don't think I have, but I guess some may think that way because I tend not to speak or smile much.

shareI somehow give off a "stuck-up," "unapproachable" first impression. However, within just a few minutes of talking to me, people usually realize they were mistaken and often tell me so. I've never understood why, but I frequently hear that I'm completely different from what was expected.
"Oh my god, you're so nice and down to earth; totally not what I expected!" -- Talk about a backhanded compliment, lol.
If you're kind of introverted, and I think you've mentioned before that you are, this is probably typical. People often mistake being quiet with "too good to talk to people" but who knows 🤷♂️
I did once have a man come up to me in the hallway at church and tell me to smile and I didn't even realize I hadn't been. (I kind of wanted to smack him upside the head when he did that though.) I think sometimes people's faces look unhappy/overly serious when they're not at all and it can give the wrong impression.
shareYeah when I first moved to where I live now. Just because of my accent.
I moved from a Shire county with a relatively 'neutral' accent to the The Black Country - the dialect was like learning a new language 😅.
When someone asked me where "the suck" was, I just stared at them having no clue what they were on about... they were asking for sweets/candy lol.
My accent blends in a bit more now.
I’m stuck-down.
shareNo.
Self-centered.
But in fact, isn't everyone a bit self-centered?
Especially if you are single, you have no kids, and your dog has passed.
