1980 - "Raging Bull"

1990 - "Misery"

2000 - Nothing popped into my head for 2000. I ended up taking a look - still - nothing stands out.

2010 - "True Grit"

Breaker Morant interesting pick...saw it years ago...and I would often confuse it with Gallipoli, another Australian war film :)

What these threads show me as I troll through the IMDB lists to identify my favorites is the number of very interesting films I've never seen, or even heard of. Also, the un-eveness - some years are chockablock with great films, others sparse.

Joe is an interesting pick. I knew about it, but didn't see it until relatively recently. The ending brought tears to my eyes.
