How does one become a moderator?

You wait until It’s a clear night then you go outside and stare at the sky until you see a shooting star then you make a wish and go to bed and if you believe hard enough you’ll wake up a moderator.

I mean, I've been around a long time in the movie website circuit since around, I want to say 2003-2004 where I started at Box Office Mojo, then was banned for whatever reason, I don't remember, then I went to Rotten tomatoes where I made this incredibly dumb prediction that "AVP Would Gross 250-300 Million Domestic" and I rode that thread hard to the point where I was finally banned when it didn't make anymore than like 80 Million tops.. 😂 The point I'm trying to make is the MODS on those websites were every where and you really had to watch what you posted or receive the Ban Hammer, but this website truly is one of the more relaxed, chillaxed movie sites where a MOD is not often seen, but heard from once in a blue moon and it's wonderful that way
