This has been my first real opportunity this year to really go for it, so Iāve spent 5 hours, sweeping cobwebs from the brickwork, fences, patio etc.
Iām now sat outside the Kingshed pub in the sun, drinking some cold ones, listening to my āDad Rockā playlist on Spotify, admiring my handiwork, lol.
Iāll be doing at least an hour everyday to get it all looking good - next job, the gutter on the Kingshed.
I may have asked this before, I forget, do you participate in any sports? Tennis...golf...anything? I liked tennis but haven't picked up a racquet in 20 years.
Not sure what this means. Anyway, it's been years since I've had a gym membership. My building has a modest fitness center, but I moved in only two years ago. This is my first apartment building with a gym and a swimming pool (again, a modest sized one).

Hey Wan King, with your funds why donāt you pay someone to do the work? I just had my home rain gutters cleaned out. Not only can your shingles/roof get damaged due to build up & holding rain, fire ants love to build in them. Not a fun experience for the person (s) doing the job. I use to pay my grandson to do the chore and he ran into the fire ants.š„“ Ouch!
BTW, he and his wife flew to Tokyo yesterday for a nine day school event. Both are teachers. Left Orlando at 5 AM. He texted me from Canada. āCanada? Why not California? Are you stopping in CA for others?ā āNo, straight to Japan from Canada.ā he replied. He texted me at almost 2:00 AM when they landed in Tokyo. I checked the time thereā¦3:00 PM! So, it was 24 hours from the time they left for the airport at 2:00 AM to landing in Japan the next day at 2:00 Orlando time.
The first day is half over. They were dog arse tired. With me the first day would be a loser because it would be eating then sleeping. But, probably not if their age. The only overseas Iāve done was when we lived in Hawaii. Dad was in the Navy. Iāve always said āOld enough to remember, but too young to enjoy.ā
Guttersludge is the name of my Imaginary band. We do folk music about yardwork and sprinklers. When we're not playing, we solve forensic accounting cases in the towns we pass through.
