Why did Hownos leave?
I don't get it. Maybe someone can tell me why.

He probably got tired of how primitive this place is. Maybe he went over to a 21st century site like Filmboards.

NOBODY WANTS ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR SEPTIC TANK.
shareMMC2 has a lot of haterz on fb. There's a mod there who arbitrarily deletes his posts because she thinks he's racist.
Is there a reason he left MovieChat? I have a hard time figuring out why he's there and not here.
I'm aware of that. I remember him from IMDb. I was dismayed when I saw him show up here shortly after I did.
He's just a really full of himself creep. He was instrumental in the No Politics rule on the GD board being implemented here because he was the most notorious abuser of that. He would bait posters with what appeared as an innocuous topic and then several posts in, it was libtards this, libtards that, yadda yadda, a very repetitive and predictable pattern.
Haha. I like the old guy. He's irascible and conservative. But he's a good man overall.
shareYou're really sending some mixed messages.
shareWhy? Politically I rarely agree with him. I can like posters whom I disagree with.
My point is, why is he so loyal to fb when he gets a lot flack over there, and there's a mod who arbitrarily deletes his posts which don't violate the rules?
I'm curious why he left MovieChat.
If you like him so much, why don't you go directly to him and ask him, instead of this clickbait shit you're playing? But don't expect to get the truth. I just tried to give you part of the reason. I have a long history with him.
Dude, you're the one who butted in the conversation. I sent no mixed messages. I was asking Kowalski's opinion since he's been here years longer than I. I know what MMC2 thinks.
shareI appreciated Hownos always posting the first review of a new movie or series. Also, he never forgot a celebrity birthday. That kind of dedication is what creates community in a forum like this. I hope he comes back.
shareI assumed he had reached the maximum post limit, like that kid beating Donkey Kong recently.
He seemed like a nice guy with a lot of time on his hands. I wouldn't swear to it in court, but most of his posts were "Should I see this [movie]?" with no criteria of what he was in the mood for or even what kinds of movies he liked.
Must be why we didn't interact that much. I never felt I had enough information to answer his question.
See you in another username.
hundred bucks says he's back, with a new profile, in a week. He couldn't quit this place.
shareApparently, this clearly was part of the reason: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GXSHRJYxTQ
