Why did Hownos leave and basically vandalize the place on the way out?

He forgot the number one rule of MovieChat:

I'm honestly not sure if hownos fully understands why himself, but I think it might stem from a complex mix of feelings, possibly including a sense of being unappreciated, which somehow manifested in his upset over the pinned threads.

That’s all just speculation on my part, and I may very well be wrong. However, his recent actions, particularly the use of the 📌 emoji, seemed really out of character and appeared designed to elicit reactions from people, e.g., trolling.

We opened a post specifically for him to come back. I even wrote him songs. What happened?
Has anyone annoyed him in the last few hours?

In my experiences on internet forums it seems to be a thing where a long standing/high posting member starts to feel like they aren't appreciated for what they consider to be great personal effort on their part to keep conversations and threads running.

I have been a forum mod in the past on another site and I got pissed off one night when I was trying to report a troll to the Admin staff and they simply didn't care. I ended up quitting the site.

I don't know Hownos' full story but it is probably along those lines. They probably looked at their high post count and started wondering what the point is/was? The point is of course to just enjoy the chat.
