shareYeah, it's St. Patrick's Day weekend, which has always been significant to me for several reasons. I made sure to be well stocked on beer yesterday myself. ๐ ๐ป
shareI was in Dublin for my 50th during the St. Patrick's celebrations - a lot of Guinness was consumed.

My best road race was a St.Patrick's Day 10k. My first and last miles were 5mins. each, and the ones in between I averaged at 6mins. Just thought I'd mention it since I know you hate to run but force yourself to do so. ๐
The 50th was a super weekend. We did a tour of the Guiness Factory, visited the oldest pub in Ireland & had an afternoon on the Pub Boat on The River Liffey, along with all the Rugby, Football that was going on too.
There were 8 of us in total and the guys often reminisce about the event.
As for the running, jeez I couldnโt keep that pace for that distance, so fair play to you ๐
I like Guinness a lot.

Watched a brief, live feed from Dublin a short while ago. Also, the hosts of the program were enjoying tall glasses of Guinness stout, along with corned beef Reuben sandwiches.โ๐บ

shareI was conceived during mid-March. Buried my mother on St. Patrick's Day, years ago. There was a full moon at the time. It's just always been a poignant time for me. If there's anything on my bucket list, it's to visit that beautiful, Emerald Isle! I discovered after double cataract surgery a year ago that green is the most pleasing color to the human eye.
