I'm very familiar with that band and that particular song. Used to listen to it often on the radio back then. Yeah, they've got a good sound.

That also wrote Mony Mony and Crimson and Clover. Thats a lot of hits attributed to other artists in the mind of the average listener. I always thought Mony Mony was a Billy Idol original.

The 60s is on the bubble for me. Its the oldest decade where I kinda here songs I like. The 50s is a no go for me.

I saw them in concert, best one I ever attended. It was a triple-header with The Buddy Miles Band (formerly the drummer for Jimi Hendrix) Uriah Heep then Deep Purple. It was accompanied by a great light show. Fantastic evening! And this was in the early 70s.

A classy guy with a great voice. Mom used to listen to this kind of music. Dad was a country western guy. Both genres rubbed off on me.
