What is up with these annoying YouTube ads?

The worse are the double ads that play after another. Like enough already. I just want to watch the video.

Google has become greedier since they bought YouTube from its creators. Many more ads with less profit for content creators who have begun asking for donations.

What I don’t understand about youtube ads is if they keep playing an ad that I always skip, why do they keep playing that ad to me? You would think there would be thousands of other ads they would try instead.

And if I've just watched rock music related content why show me an ad related to a rapper/pop singer?

They are starting to play them in the middle of songs, like when you're watching a full concert.
