what's an ongoing issue where you live?
housing shortage.
shareHave you decided if you're going to rent your house vs selling? You could make good money in that area.
People are still clutching their pearls down here about marijuana being legalized. We have one dispensary and they're up in arms about a second opening, yet have no problem with a dozen liquor stores in the city lol.
we will sell when the time comes. no way i am becoming a landlord. there must ten marijuana stores in my neighborhood. i don't pay any attention to them.
shareProbably the best decision if you don't need the income stream. Renting out one house would be a breeze though.
Most people don't care about dispensaries, but there will always be that small group of people in a community who are the loudest. It's actually quite amusing.
Homelessness (and housing shortage as well)
shareHomelessness. I live in Los Angeles and though there is not a homeless encampment on every street as some believe it's still prevalent.
shareseems to me it has always been a problem in los angeles.
shareGlad I got out of Hell-A!
shareI was born in Hollywood and I grew up in Canoga Park and Hidden Hills then I moved to North Hollywood. When I was 18 I couldn't leave Los Angeles fast enough. But after living in Houston TX, Aberdeen, NC and Springfield, MO I moved back to North Hollywood and now I love it here! There is so much to do and there is never a dull moment.
shareAggressive driving.
They really drive like they want to kill and die out there on the roads. I take it easy and get home alive ten minutes later, that's like two extra songs on Sirius XM satellite radio...Slow down dummies, sixty in a forty mph zone is not acceptable.
Too many people are horrible drivers, they should be revoked.
Same problem where I live. Running red lights is also an issue.
shareGarden Killers! 👿
They don't give a rip about nature protection (laws!). 🦔 🍃 🦉
And they've never heard of noise regulations with their LOUD machines. ☻
