Fuck Walmart, and fuck every other retailer trying to push Christmas shopping into September

I get Christmas fatigue bad. This once every year stuff is BS. You don’t even get over last year’s Christmas fatigue and it’s already ramping up again! I think Christmas should go to an Olympic type schedule, only once every four years. Can you just imagine the buildup and the overflowing of joy?!!

They started to put up Christmas decorations at the local Cracker Barrel at the end of July.

In our family, we celebrate Christmas by going to church. Latin Mass followed by a family meal. We give gifts to the kids, but is usually winter clothes as it is minnesota and our winters can be brutal.

You seem to possess the problem many of us have with the commercialization of Christmas. That's fair. It's a bastardization of the fact that we celebrate Christ's birth. When people think Christmas, they think 🎁. It should be Christ. But you know, we live in times where fun is more important, so that's when we get the modern retail christmas season.

They had Christmas stuff out in August in England 😩.

I remember the stores would start their "back to school" promotions shortly after we were let out for the summer. I didn't want to be reminded!
