Sci-Fi.

I love all those tbh. If there was a murder mystery that was both romantic and musical, that would almost be a perfect movie.

But fantasy is my top genre, just because fantasy can mean literally anything and usually equals more fun props and costumes are included. Adventure would be second and drama would be third, because again, drama is so broad and can mean so many things (like period dramas are specific type of drama) - but also it usually means it's a tear jerker, and I like a movie that can make me cry.

All that said, I prefer hybridized genres, because you get a mix of everything. Take for instance The Green Mile. It's listed as a Crime/Drama, but it has magical elements, it has romance elements, there's definitely a lot of horror elements too. Genres I don't care for, like horror and westerns, work fine when they're mixed in with other genres. You get the best kind of storytelling out of films that mix genres. This is why I don't mind "superhero" movies, because Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man and Wonder Woman are not really about the powers, those are just a vehicle for another type of storytelling.

I ENJOY ALL THE GENRES...MUSICAL IS THE HARDEST FOR ME...BUT GREASE EXISTS...SO I CAN'T SAY I DISLIKE THE GENRE TOO MUCH...AS FAR AS FAVORITE...THE ANSWER IS...HORROR-COMEDY...I ENJOY HORROR MOVIES AND I ENJOY COMEDIES...BUT THE MIXING OF THE TWO SUITS MY PERSONALITY PERFECTLY.
