982-3702, you didn't need to dial the area code when making local calls then.
shareSure. HO 9-2598, or Hopkins 9-2598, or 469-2598. I had to look on my phone's keypad to match the H and O to their respective numbers. We always referred to it as Hopkins 9, probably because that's how we answered when we picked up the receiver and the operator said, "number, please." Yes, it was a long time ago.
