shareCaesar dies at the end of Season 1, so all of Season 2 was after Caesar dies...in other words the series wasn't strictly all about Julius Caesar (agreeing with you). Augustus's reign alone could last at least a couple seasons.

Cillian Murphy said in an interview he's happy with the ending and wants to do other things right now, but wouldn't rule out some kind of revival in the future. I think we might see a movie in a few years.
