last decent movie roles of deceased stars
judy garland - judgment at nuremberg
shareJack Lemmon's final role was an uncredited appearance (if I remember correctly) in "The Legend Of Bagger Vance." It's probably my all-time favorite movie and I thought it was a fitting final movie appearance for Lemmon (given all of his appearances in the old Bing Crosby Pro-Am golf tournament). He wasn't the greatest golfer by any means, but he really seemed to love golf.
sharei would have went with glengarry glen ross
shareI would say the Grumpy Old Men series.
shareSame here. Haven't watched GlenGarry Glen Ross, but it is on my watch list.
share43 OLD WHITE GUYS ARGUE ABOUT SALES...IT'S PRETTY GOOD.
shareI'll check it out. Soon.
sharethere are a lot of f bombs in that movie.
shareI'll never understand why it's so necessary to insert the f bomb. There are plenty of other words that are not vulgar and still construe the anger/frustration/disgust emotions. As my dad always said (and I never heard either of my parents use the f bomb), using the f bomb every other word shows that the user has a very limited vocabulary.
shareYou guys aren't golfers, are you? 😃 I've never seen "Glengarry Glen Ross," but I have seen the "Grumpy Old Man" movies and agree that Lemmon was very good in those. But I believe "Bagger Vance" was the perfect way for him to go out...and, yes, I believe that one has to be a golfer to really get that movie.
shareDennis Hopper
True Romance (93) was his last performance I really enjoyed. His final monologue is just terrific in this one.
NO LOVE FOR MEET THE DEEDLES,HUH?🙂
shareI never saw it, that M. C. Gainey guy was cool in a couple of things though.
sharePAUL WALKER AND SOME OTHER DUDE PLAY SPOILED SURFER DUDES BANISHED TO JOBS IN YOSEMITE...DENNIS HOPPER IS THE VILLAIN WITH A PLAN INVOLVING PRAIRIE DOGS IF I REMEMBER RIGHT...IT WAS BAD...BUT HOPPER WAS FUNNY AND FOR SOME REASON I HAD THE POSTER HANGING IN MY ROOM FOR A COUPLE YEARS WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER.
