OK so:

If you are being picked on: "just hit ignore and be cool." I don't think our resident autistic Russian was ever told to "just ignore it."

So a poster must plead for it to stop and not fire back? THAT is the difference? I think many people pleaded for the db20db drive-byes to stop. They did so without attacking. This went on for some time and within the 2017 time frame.

Less is more regarding these actions. The free speech really is the only fruit on this tree.

I remember when Yonkers first arrived here years ago. He announced he had just come from another site where strife and fighting were the norm. He brought that attitude with him and infected this board with it. Shortly after that, he started attacking one of our most popular posters at the time because he was jealous of his popularity. Then he came after me. I tried to get along with him for awhile but that attempt was doomed to fail because he's always been a bully, I have a combative streak, and it was inevitable we would end up on a collision course.

It was not "many people" but a select few. You've done your part in muddying the waters here.

"Now", as famed broadcaster Paul Harvey used to say, "you know the rest of the story" and the record is set a bit more straight.

As long as nothing has been deleted, edited, nor erased, the proof is in the pudding. I never saw what you claim. To your credit, you seem to have calmed down as of late. I only point out the utter lack of adjudication over your continuous stalking and attacking some time ago. Good for you for stopping.

I'd rather that you'd stopped from personal or peer pressure rather than a ban or deletion. And since we're dropping names for dubious support: As famed broadcaster Barry Farber once said, "Less is best."

If you don't like the poster, put them on ignore.
If you think a post is breaking the t&c, report it (and as has been pointed out, we are only aware of the posts which are reported because we don't read every post ever made here).
If it doesn't get removed, it was decided not to break the t&c (which promotes free speech as much as possible).
If you don't like free speech, perhaps this site isn't for you.

There are plenty of other sites where (to paraphrase some control freak nazi), you will own no opinions of your own and you will be happy.

100% agree, although I'm not sure if I'd use the word "monster" whether it's accurate or not. It's part of the reason I post less frequently here. It's not because I'm afraid of conflict, it's just not worth it with certain people because they're not mentally capable of making a point without employing buzz words like "leftie" and "wokist" and all that other nonsense that even teenagers look down on. I just don't happen to want to fight everyone when I come to a site about movies and tv shows, especially when I haven't said anything inflammatory enough to warrant a fight - usually, I've not said anything negative in the slightest and I'm still dodging verbal punches left and right.

And as for the Mods posting in the comments, can you guys please be fucking real for a second? Just be real and stop posting the rules of this site as though you actually force everyone here to adhere to them, when it's clear you give passes and play favourites. If you can't be real, don't be part of the conversation and continue to ignore everything that's going on, as per usual.
