Sherlock Holmes - My favourite potrayal being TV's Jeremy Brett, best feature film is probally Mr. Holmes starring Ian McKellen.

Ezekiel "Easy" Rawlins - Read all the books by Walter Mosley. There's only one Easy Rawlins movie, which stars Denzel Washington, a shame they never made more.
