Is this statement Sort of true/very true, or total bullshit?

I realize that to some this question may come across as a tad naïve. But a friend of mine who's quite a bit younger than me. but a father of two young boys, told me this. That if a girl around 18 years old give or take has tattoos, then she's definitely not a virgin and has had full on sexual intercourse. Does anyone else think this is a somewhat accurate statement? He explained it further to me as to why he says that, but I'll leave it at that for now.

reply

Don't know about the tattoos, but if she has a tongue piercing - oh yea.

reply

Anyone who enjoys permanently destroying her body should be avoided.

reply

I'd say, tattoos or not, in today's world it's highly unlikely that an 18 year old girl is a virgin.

reply

Tattoos are trashy. Stay away from that girl regardless of her sexual history. I question anyone who enjoys permanently marring their body.

reply

I DO BELIEVE THIS HAS ACHIEVED OBSESSION LEVEL,UNCLE JON.

reply

I'm merely responding to the post. Maybe you should have a discussion with the OP.

And I'm not your uncle.

reply

LMAO...YOU RESPONDED AGRESSIVELY 3 OR 4 TIMES...I AM STARTING TO THINK YOU JUST DON'T LIKE TATTOOS,UNCLE JON.

reply

And you replied to it. So who's obsessed now?

Like I said, go talk to the original poster.

And I'm still not your uncle.

reply

DUH...I AM OBSESSED WITH YOU...I LIKE YOU...I KNOW YOU AREN'T MY REAL UNCLE...THAT WOULD ENTAIL FUCKING MY AUNT AND THEN I COULDN'T LIKE YOU ANYMORE...I STILL LOVE YOU THOUGH,UNCLE JON.

reply

You might not see it, but its clearly an obsession. You don't have to like tattoos, but why take every little opportunity to say the same thing, over and over and over?

reply

Because the mindset needs to be changed. Think back about ten years ago... how many people did you see with trashy tattoos in 2012? Very few, and the ones who had them were usually discreet about it. Today, you can't go anywhere, including banks and doctors' offices, without seeing someone with their entire arms covered with this sleaze. It seems like this nonsense started sometime after 2015 and picked up the pace during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's getting out of control.

So what happened circa 2015? My guess would be the idiotic social media had something to do with it. Some celebrity or pro athlete got a seedy tattoo and the mindless shallow trend-chasers had to follow suit. Not a legitimate reason to permanently damage ones skin.

I post this same message on other forums, hoping it will go viral someday. Opinions can be changed. I'm trying to discourage people from engaging in a destructive practice that they will regret someday.

It's a campaign, not an obsession. I didn't start this thread, I merely responded to it. Maybe you should talk to the O.P.

reply

So what happened circa 2015?

Most people I knew in the 90s were getting tattooed. Especially my female friends. There was no social media back then. So I'm going to guess by 2015 people were just getting to the point of having more of their bodies covered. Tattoos aren't cheap, nor are they quick to do. Most people do start small with their first ones.

reply

Yes, some people had tattoos in the 1990s but it was usually something discreet. Now I'm seeing people with their necks, legs and entire arms covered with this trash. And I'm seeing this in places like doctors' offices and banks where the employees should be presenting a professional image. Our society is devolving.

reply

A lot of people had tattoos in the 90s. I'm not sure the tattoos were actually more discreet, or if places like doctor's offices realized that people with tattoos can be just as competent as those without.

reply

Yes, tattoos
became very mainstream starting in the early 90s if my experience is any gauge. My Sister and I are nearly the only two out of all the people we grew up with who never got one and never will.

reply

I saw lots of people 10 years ago with tattoos. Hell, they've been very prevalent since at least the 90's. Maybe you just never noticed them?

Listen, you're not going to change peoples minds by obsessively repeating the same lame comment over and over and its definitely not going to go viral. This is why Kowalski calls you Uncle Jon, because you sound like a cranky old man. Not trying to be mean, but you need to chill out and mind your own business.

reply

Oh, I've noticed them. Some people had them back then but they were more discreet about it. You didn't see anyone with their necks, legs and entire arms covered with this trash.

How do you know this will never go viral? Things have unexpectedly gone viral in the past. And yes, it's my business when I go to the bank or doctor's office and see employees, who are supposed to be professionals, permanently destroying their skin and setting a bad example for children.

I don't pay any attention to Kowalski's posts because they are filled with crude subject matter, f-words and constant talk about smoking weed. I still haven't decided if his online persona is real or a benign form of trolling. I will admit he does come up with some funny stuff at times.

reply

It won't go viral because the average person doesn't become outraged over someone else's personal decision. Have you ever heard the term "pearl clutching?" That's what this is.

No, an employees appearance is absolutely non of your business. They are there to do their job and if you don't like how they look, go somewhere else.

reply

Then maybe you should mind your own business, too. I don't understand why you respond to my posts since you never agree with them, nor do I understand why you continue to defend a destructive practice.

I didn't start this thread, I only responded to it. Nor am I the only one who feels this way. Go talk to the O.P. and some of the other users since you seem to enjoy arguing.

reply

I made it quite clear in my first post why I responded.

"You might not see it, but its clearly an obsession. You don't have to like tattoos, but why take every little opportunity to say the same thing, over and over and over?"

Good luck in your crusade. You're going to need it.

reply

Honey, mindsets aren't changed through ranting and repeating yourself! All that accomplishes is to annoy people.

Occasionally mindsets are changed through mockery, nothing makes something uncool faster than viral memes laughing at it - people who think they're cool can't bear to be laughed at! That and time, new fads, people who thought tattoos are the coolest thing ever getting older, etc. But in the meantime, learn to make memes and give up on the rants, they accomplish nothing.

And this from someone who also hates tattooes.

reply

I guess you can only speak as you find. Personally, I've not been with enough tattooed girls to be able to judge (mainly because I LOATHE tattoos).

reply

The fact that a girl enjoys permanently marring her skin says something about her personality. This should be a red flag.

reply

This reminds me of something a guy I knew used to say. He reckoned that the higher up a girl's ponytail was, the better she was in the sack. So if it was low, basically starting just above her neck, she was boring. But if it was higher, towards the top of the head, she was more fun. Obviously, it was then a sliding scale for anywhere inbetween. Of course, it fell apart if she'd taken her ponytail out before you'd seen it.

reply

Tats were more rare among our 18 year olds in my graduating year of 87. I knew 2 girls whom had tattoos. One was definitely not a virgin. The other one was a sorta shy goth type who didn't seem to be romantically involved ever. What seemed a more reliable indicator of sexual activity was smoking. But even that is not a 100%. Nothing is.

reply

ALL YOUR POSTS ARE THINLY VEILED SEX BOASTS...NOW THIS ONE...WHERE YOU SOUND LIKE AN 11 YEAR OLD BOY...YOU'RE FUCKING WEIRD,BRO.

reply

Yeah, and you also can't get pregnant the first time you have sex.
