Would you display your awards/film posters/ memorabilia etc in your house

a: Pride of place for everyone who visits to see.

b: A room only friends and family would see.

c: In a box in the loft, such things aren't important to you.

No one really visits me other than friends or family so A & B are essentially the same for me.

It depends. I have a few cousins that I don't see too often who are showoffs. I'd put in front and centre on my dinner table. Other than that, I'd probably put them on a shelf next to some BluRay's and books.

I've got 8+ statue awards right now, that others would love to have. They are collecting dust in a box. I don't care. Granted they were only statewide, they still garnered respect.

If I was full time acting, and they were BIGGER awards, I'd put them in the main hall as visitors would want to see them.

In the end, I don't care about awards - the judging always seems suspect anyway - I care I succeed at entertaining.

I like Kate Winslet's idea of keeping her Oscar in her bathroom so guests can practice their acceptance speech in front of the mirror.
