Thing is, about a year ago Inate a watermelon that was just a bit too old and got really sick and since then I unfortunately can’t enjoy them as I could before.

Also, I onlydeveloped the taste for pineapple in my late twenties.

I can sympathize with your feelings about watermelon after your nasty experience. I refuse to eat beans of any kind for the same reason. It's really difficult to get past that.

I've never even heard of a longan, so I looked it up. The pictures I saw made me think of a small peach. Can you describe the taste?
