Your thoughts on the singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette?

Not exactly a fan, but whatever. Her songs don't annoy me.

I wouldn't call myself a fan, although if she comes on the radio I tend to listen.

I only know her from "Ironic," her biggest hit, #4 Billboard Hot 100. I just now took a quick listen to her other two US Top Tens, "You Oughta Know" and "You Learn," and they are not familiar to me. "Ironic" is also notable for the Lincoln Continental Mark V in the music video.

I also remember her on a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode. It seemed to me, hope I don't offend, is that she seemed like the kind of singer-songwriter Hollywood elites would fall over themselves for.

she's brave but also chickenshit

Jagged Little Pill was the absolute shit back in the day and so was she. But I hugely disliked watching her perform because she's very fucking weird and spastic in a very unattractive way. And I wasn't crazy about her in interviews either she was just so pretentious. So, loved the album, loved the songs, listened to them a lot, hated watching her in action.

I only know her from the Jagged Little Pill album which was really very good, not a poor song on it.

She did come off as pretentious way back when but selling 30+ Million records at 21 years of age would likely swell anyone’s head.

I’ve heard her interviewed since and she seems pretty normal, a bit charming in fact.

I’m I have all her albums and have seen her in concert, so I like her.
