He comes across as a major douche in this interview with the "Do you know who I am?" comment.
I don't think he was being douchey there, when he said that. He looked genuinely confused when Larry King asked him if his show had been canceled. Larry King was arguably the biggest name in interview journalism back then, and he seriously asked if 'Seinfeld' had been canceled, or if Jerry ended it. The show was literally the most popular show on TV, and the most successful sitcom in history.
When Jerry said "Do you know who I am?", he was not touting his own legend like a douche, he was basically questioning Larry's lack of knowledge as a baseline for an interview. He should have said "Do you even know who you're interviewing, Larry? Why would you even ask that?"
That's a sensible take on it.
Jerry did look legit mad.
Larry was an affable guy, a pleasant interviewer, but no brain surgeon.
When an interviewer has not briefed themselves on the basic career of their subject, including the cultural context of their work, the subject has a right to be irritated. Its just sloppy work, not to mention more than a bit insulting to a person who makes themselves available & present for the interviewer.

Ya know, he was a Vegas singer before he made these movies. In fact, I think he did the soundtracks too. He’s an interesting guy.

Both movies are pretty terrific, they live on the borderland between Ridiculous and Cool and they have generally been hard to find. I just found Murder Mafia Style streaming on TUBI and I saw Gone With The Pope years ago at a cult/horror/action movie marathon…You’d probably get a kick out of them.

The film doesn’t show up on IMGDB ( no surprise) but I did find that a distinguished gun company in England called Lancaster developed a four barrel shotgun but the thing is rare today as they only made a small number. I found one at online auction for $40,000!!!
Certainly not a weapon you would ‘saw off’ and it would likely break your wrist if you one-handed the beast.
Anyway, let’s just chalk it up to movie magic🤓

If posed as a philosophical question, I wouldn't call it entirely douch-baggy.
shareLarry King is a very savvy journalist and interviewer. He researches his top before an interview. King new Seinfeld was not can cancelled. He said that to get a reaction to make an interesting interview.
Seinfeld had every right to joke and act mock offended. One could argue Larry King was the douchebag here. But I wouldn't even say that either. They were putting on a show.
