I know someone who loathes Emma Stone. I don't get it. There's never been controversy with her, she doesn't seem fake, she seems likable and she never gets political. What's there to hate?
I knew a guy who claimed Christopher Reeve was rude to him when he bumped into him somewhere. This was before his injury. But I can understand if you are a celebrity that you don’t want to talk to everyone that recognizes you. I bumped in to Al Franken while I was walking out of an elevator at the student union at the University of Florida in 1988. All I said was “You’re Al Franken”, he replied “Yep” and I said “Cool” and that was it. I really didn’t want to bother him.
My dad used to be interested in filmmaking and special effects when he was younger and when a Hollywood movie would film in Key West he would go to the set and talk to the FX team. They filmed part of Operation Petticoat in Key West and my dad had home movies from the set. If I remember correctly he said Tony Curtis wasn’t as friendly as Cary Grant. But as I mentioned above I can understand that.
