Parental neglect that leads to the child's death is already a chargeable offense.

reply

parents are not usually charged in these cases.

reply

I'm sure this is only after careful deliberation of why this happened and what will be gained by punishing this person.

reply

Having her child died is already the worst punishment I could ever imagine. I don't know how she can sleep anymore, forever.

reply

there is that.

reply

It my end up with a suicide.

reply

Ok. But she's still at fault and should be held accountable... no?

I have a dog and we take trips around town. If I ever just "forgot" him in the car (how does that even fucking happen??) I would hope there was some type of punishment.

Like Jesus christ..how fucking stupid is that lady?

reply

Idk, I'm not a judge. I'll just let the law handles this matter.

reply

I'm not a judge either. I'm not sure what kind of charge she should get. Negligent homicide?

If I were dictator, I'd just have an island purchased where we can send these people. There wouldn't be any supplies there, though. All the dumb fucks would have to make it on their own.

How do you forget that your own child is inside your car? How??

reply

Idk, why ask me?

reply

Because I replied to your comment, and then you replied to my comment, and then I replied to yours again.

reply

Very strange that she would forget, but I'm guessing it has to do with routines mostly, not intelligence. I don't know about Canada, but most western teachers outside the U.S has to have medium to high intelligence.

My grandfather was a chief steward in the 70s and it eventually became illegal for them to have family visitors because the seamen would often just forget them on the boat or on land. They were used to being away from their family and struggled to adapt.

reply

Does that dog require your utmost attention every minute of the day and then keep you up all night frequently every single day?
Parents get so overworked and exhausted that they legitimately forget all kinds of crucial things. Especially if they are routine things like dropping kid off. It becomes too easy to recall a previous performance of a rote task as a current performance. "Did I turn the porch light off?" >remembers one of 5,000 instances of doing it< "Oh yeah, I did." Oh, of course a child is more important. The high level of focus increases the exhaustion that makes them susceptible.

I feel bad for people to whom this happens. The worst kind of mistake that can happen even when you are actively trying not to make it. I do not envy any judge that must rule on this.

SPOILER BELOW!!

Watching apple tv's The Servant gave me a heart for people this has happened to.

reply

I understand that point. And maybe I went too far calling them "dumb fucks"..it's just the language I use because I was raised by assholes.

But you can't just let that slide. That's why I think my island idea is good. It's like.. I'm sorry for what you're going through right now..we know you didn't mean to do it.

But we still gotta send you to the island.

reply

They should.

reply

YES...MY DAUGHTER IS 14 AND STRONG AS A FUCKING BODYBUILDER...I STILL WON'T LEAVE HER ALONE IN THE CAR FOR ANY REASON...I FEEL BAD FOR THIS MOTHER AND ESPECIALLY THE BABY...BUT LONG STORY SHORT...THIS LADY MURDERED HER KID.

reply

she was in the school for 6-7 hours and never once thought of the kid. unbelievable.

reply

I PERSONALLY FIND THAT IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE...ABSOLUTELY INSANE.

reply

I STILL WON'T LEAVE HER ALONE IN THE CAR FOR ANY REASON

You take her with you when you're paying for gas? She's 14, dude. Free her from those Kowalskian shackles.

reply

YES I DO...EVERY SINGLE TIME...UNTIL FOREVER.

Nah. Greta Thunberg and AOC have Red Pilled all of us idiots the fact that the planet only has 12 more years to go before The Apocalypse befalls us, and that we're sentencing babies to death each time we knock up a chick. Or each time said chick decides to carry the child to term. Under these circumstances, folks who've treated their children in the fashion you're describing deserve only commendations.... They've removed an ounce of burden from Mother Earth's shoulders, by snuffing out these tykes on their own initiative, rather than leaving Her saddled with even more people to do in

reply

I don't know. I mean, that's some severe neglect, but if the parent isn't a sociopath, I imagine they are going through agony already. Punishment enough, perhaps. Unless it's intentional, of course. That's a different situation.

Parking fee is not enough? You want to charge them for the kids too? That sounds a bit like RyanAir. Parking the car? 10€. Sorry, today it's hot, 5€ more per kid! However, they're free if you check in and leave them in the trunk.
