Do you support abortion if the woman was raped?

Morally I don't support abortion, it is repugnant to me. But I admit it's a necessary evil.

Grey area, I’m going to remain neutral on this one.

I support abortion if the mother just doesn't want to stretch out her abs!

She's the one who's pregnant, it's her body, it's her decision and nobody else's. Her motives for getting the abortion don't matter and aren't up for debate, because an adult has the right to do what they want with their own damn body!

Yeah, but I support abortion if the woman wasn't raped. It's kinda weird that people only agree a woman is entitled to rights to her own body after those rights have been violated.

I'm pro choice particularly in light of the fact that a womans biology and sexuality has been governed over by church and state and men (and everyone but herself) since the beginning of recorded history.

I personally believe in considering options but everyone else's life shouldn't be up to me....or you.

I will grant that times have mostly changed over the last 40-50 years and women are nolonger shamed and their life forever ruined and controlled by others ( at least in the West) but that doesn't diminish the fear of reverting back. That's why some seem so extreme...

I support abortion for any reason within the first 4 months of pregnancy. And preferably using the abortion pill as it's more "natural" and less invasive. More natural as in it's more of a "miscarriage" that what a traditional abortion is.
Anything after that I support for medical reasons only.

And in a perfect world, any woman with an unwanted (or medically dangerous) pregnancy can have her fetus transferred into the upcoming artificial womb to gestate then adopted by the countless people wanting to adopt a newborn baby (or keep for herself in the case of medically dangerous pregnancy). The downside of this though would be population explosion.

No because if all babies throughout history that were the product of rape died in their respective eras, we probably wouldn't exist. I can guarantee that some of your ancestors are the product of rape.

Rape, despite being horrendous, is a natural element in procreation.
