R.I.P. Ray Liotta.

Dead at 67.

reply

very sad. rip.

reply

Just read his IMDB bio and was impressed that he turned down a lot of psycho offers after his success in Something Wild. He didn't want to be typecast so he took on smaller projects until landing the part of Henry Hill in Goodfellas. RIP

reply

All I remember him as was playing the psycho.

reply

Saw him in Dominick and Eugene (1988) back at that time. Definitely an effort at a different role.
As it was for Tom Hulce.

reply

I think Tom Hulce should make a come back.

Saw him just days ago in a rewatch of The Place Beyond the Pines (2012), where he portrayed a corrupt detective. Maybe not exactly typecast, but he seemed to be a natural in that type of role (someone in a position of authority/power who abused it) and played it often during his career.

reply

He was great in Unlawful Entry.

reply

My dad loves that movie.

reply

Sad news .....I think he elevated any movie he was in..

But I gotta say that if he actually died in his sleep with no pre-existing illness dragging him down then he atleast got what most hope for but few obtain.

reply

That's how I want to go out.

reply

What? I mean wouldn’t you prefer to be a knight in armor with a broad sword who just defeated 30 attackers who dies just after from wounds?

reply

That's can still happen. I can be bleeding but a bevy of bodacious beauties put me to bed where I die peacefully after defending their honour.

reply

Now your talking! 👍

reply

THIS WAS A FUCKED UP SURPRISE...R.I.P.

reply

I’ll always think of him as Henry Hill, laughing his ass off with the rest of the gang in that Tiki Lounge in Queens…forever young.

reply

What you said exactly.

reply

Jeez, so great in so many things.
Bad news.

reply

Underrated in "Narc".

reply

I just found it on Amazon Prime, I’m going to watch it tonight after dinner👍

reply

I don't want to alarm you, but they filmed most of it in Canada during the winter.

reply

I’ll watch it under a quilt with a Thermos of hot chocolate.

reply

I recommend the movie in Stonekeeper game.
Must watch.

reply

Asides from seeing and enjoying his films I don't know much about the guy. Maybe it's just my own perception but I always saw him as someone who liked to party and have a good time.

RIP

reply

He was an innocent man.
