OT: What is your favourite country that you have visited?
Well?
shareFrance or Spain.
shareCanada.
shareAs a young man Thailand.
As a newly wed Japan.
As a guy with a young family Australia.
Italy. It's so easy, the people are so nice, the food is fantastic, relatively cheaper than most places, cultural landmarks by the sackful, people are good looking, they make out in public like the French do.
shareI live in Canada, visited USA,Florida and Cuba and would pick Cuba!
shareI've liked almost every country I've been to. It's tough to actually pick one. I really love Costa Rica, and I'm in love with the Osa Penisula, but some of the more touristy places haven't been my favourite. I love South Africa, and Zimbabwe, but I'd not want to live full time in either place. Austria was great. Scotland too. I think those would be my top 5.
I think it's like trying to pick a favourite type of food. I can find something I love almost anywhere.
England. I can't quite say why, it just had this dual quality of feeling completely new and yet completely like home.
shareMe too on England. I even love the miserable weather. lol
shareI never found the weather miserable to be fair, but yeah.
shareI should have used quotation marks. I love overcast and rainy weather.
shareSame. But also, I found the weather quite gentle. I'm Australian, and when it rains here, it's pretty torrential.
shareAlso Australian but we at least have quite a bit of sunny weather. England does not!
shareTwins! Also, when I visited, I was there for the summer and it got to almost 30C. My friends joked that I'd brought sunny weather with me, while they were dying from their first ever bout of sunburn. So I'm sure it's not sunny often, but it is sunny sometimes.
shareI expected it to be less friendly too but the people I encountered seemed to love Aussies especially cab drivers.
