Ben Hardy. Proved himself both seductive and menacing in the otherwise uneven Amazon Prime flick The Voyeurs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfqA1SQbj-k His first scene opposite Sydney Sweeney in the bar would have provided an ideal example of the point I'm arguing; sadly, no one has put it up on YouTube yet
That I hadn’t heard…weird! What actor wouldn’t jump at the role?
Maybe he doesn’t want all the blockheads yelling about a black Bond…that would be a real hassle I suppose but he could have been great as 007 10-15 years ago
I’d bet it would be very good pay, a hundred million dollar movie starring a well liked actor with locations in England, Egypt, The U.S. or wherever…that’s gotta be a high paying gig
I never would have picked Daniel Craig for Bond. He looks more like a bouncer in a bar. Not suave enough for me. I thought Pierce Brosnan was a good pick, albeit a bit old by the time he got the part.
I used to read the Bond novels when I was young and I agree with you. I would add Timothy Dalton because both actors most closely resembled Fleming's physical description of him. In spite of that, Connery has always been my favorite.

As someone else pointed out, for all of his talent DC physically and personality wise resembles a Bond villain more than 007 himself
I know ‘virtue signaling’ when I see it…’All of my gay Jewish friends say…blah, blah…’
We know what that is, it’s posturing to seem hip and gain hollow support from randos on the internet
Elba is London born, he’s got a wicked English accent and he’s a pretty big athletic looking dude, he’d have been a killer as James Bond but he’s a bit too old is all
In terms of the current cultural climate it’s really quite a mess out there!
A black guy can’t be a secret agent? There are a lot of black people in England, it boggles the mind that this freaks some people out lol.
I personally have no objection to a non white actor playing Bond, provided he's capable and charismatic. Sadly, all of this fucking Wokeness that we're in the midst of has had the opposite effect of what Progressives have intended. Today, the folks back home in Manchester, England and Reno, Nevada(the sort of folks who make up the bulk of the viewing public)would get one whiff of a non white Bond, and instinctively liken this to the all female Ghostbusters, or some other Woke revamp of a venerated IP
Sad, because there really are lots of non-white guys out there who'd be great in the role
Good post, you are being fair and I get it, I appreciate your candor, 👍
There is an ongoing discussion about race, sexuality and representation these days that I am not part of (being a large straight Irish fellow) but that does seem to matter a lot to others…I do like that the others have a voice in this, that’s important
I’ll take your word, I don’t remember him from any movie, the kid looks like a cupcake though
George Lazenby, now that guy looked like a murderer, unfortunately he was a pain in the ass to work with…Lazenby had the right build, not huge but not tiny, he had the suave thing down, he looked like a shooter without mercy…We need a new Bond that somewhat resembles Lazenby if we cast this thing traditionally
It's tough to not think Sweeney isn't actively trying to usurp Emily Ratajkowski's crown, as Tinseltown's most prolific exhibitionist. Even when she's not falling out of her clothes on Euphoria or the movies she stars in, the girl's rarely dressed, even in the casual pics she puts up around the internet https://scandalshack.com/sydney-sweeney-slutty-selfies/ Not that I'm complaining, mind you
Are they doing a reboot? I didn't see the last one, but I was told he was killed off in a way that didn't really leave much of a chance to bring him back.
I wouldn't object either Emily Blunt or Natalie Martinez playing Bond in one film. Of course, this all raises questions as to why the hell someone just doesn't put forth an original production, with a character who ain't Bond or a guy
