Michael Jackson?

It's difficult to name only one. Jackson for innovation and skill.

Honorable mention for celebrity dancer: Patrick Swayze

Gene Kelly, at least top 5 https://youtu.be/dWVCYAdjS5M

reply

Michael Jackson beats out Gene Kelly IMO.

reply

Depends on what kind of dancing you like...Gene Kelly could watch and imulate MJ...MJ couldn't start tap dancing like singing in the rain.

I don't know, but the ones I like are:

Elena Cruz
Sabrina (Rebelindustry)
Magga Braco
Sofia Alengoz

That brief clip of Tempestt Bledsoe dancing in the title sequence of The Cosby Show:

And Mayim Bialik dancing in the title sequence of Blossom:

I don't know if her dancing is considered "good" or not, but I always liked it. Also, she's about my age and back when that show was on the air, she reminded me of my girlfriend. Lots of people told her that she looked like "Blossom," which annoyed her to no end.

These two: Fred Astaire and Vera Ellen

This shows how that dance was done.

reply

Yes. I've seen some of those. I believe MJ was heavily influenced by Astaire.

reply

That wouldn't surprise me. I think sometimes folks forget or don't realize where performers get their inspiration and influence.
