Masks are still a thing

I'm gonna start wearing some creepy face masks. If I'm forced to wear that chit, might as well make everybody super uncomfortable. Is everybody playing it safe with solid colors?

reply

I have to wear one every day, it sucks, mine are pink😀

reply

Barely still a thing in England.... today we have just shy of 219,000 cases 💩

reply

Why, though? Anyone who is vaccinated is protected from the virus. Breakthrough cases will not result in serious illness or hospitalization and symptoms will be mild at the very worst. I staunchly refuse to wear a mask to protect the morons who refuse to get the jab. Let them deal with the consequences.

reply

My brother was really sick in Covid recently despite having two jabs.
It is dumb to just take a risk when you can wear a mask.

reply

The vaccine prevents over 99% of serious illnesses or hospitalization, so no, its not dumb to not wear a mask. Your bother is either a statistical fluke or has a compromised immune system.

reply

Yeah, it is true that my brother has had bad luck with infections through his life.
It is probably correct that he has a compromised immune system (he's got a lot of allergies).

But I'm careful since I have diabetes and don't want to take any risks.

reply

You're welcome to wear a mask if you please, but its silly to continue with the mandates considering anyone who wants a vaccine has one by now.

reply

Yes, concern for other people is sooooo 1990s...

Until we hit flu levels, I will continue to mask out of my personal concern for others lives. My death would be of very little impact. But I don't want possibly carry, spread, or infect others, even though I am very very isolated, fully vase and boosted and not sick at all.

I know 13 dead people that might still be alive had they been around more people that had concern for others.

Spin it twist it however you feel like, but I mask for others, not myself.

reply

Cloth masks are ineffective, they are now saying. Got to have an N95 or something better.

reply

I have a plague doctor mask,
