https://moviechat.org/tt1650060/SGT-Will-Gardner An underrated, good movie. Should be at least a 7/10

The trailer looks good, but its not in my wheelhouse, horror or silly comedy.

reply

The movie has a lot of heart, a significant message and I knew instinctively it wouldn't be your cup of tea, but it might be for someone else.

reply

Agreed, I don't like serious drama...Usually.

reply

Same here. I usually go for thriller, mystery, drama....in that order. This movie caught me by surprise.

reply

I usually don't seek out comedies, but I settled on this one today, out of pure boredom, and enjoyed it. You might also if you haven't seen it already. The two heavyweight actors in it have great chemistry throughout the film. https://moviechat.org/tt1111948/Soul-Men

Killer Movie: Director's Cut (2021)

I just started it, mainly because of the cast. The rating and reviews are terrible, so how did this nothing movie attract actors and actresses from several Emmy award winning shows. I'm baffled, so I have to watch it.

Nestor Carbonell...Bates Motel
Kaley Cuoco - The Big Bang
Leighton Meester -Gossip Girl
Paul Wesley - The Vampire Diaries

Ahh, Got it. Who the hell releases a director's cut of a 4.5 movie from 2008. Why am I still watching this?

Die Hard

just finished watching the second mother (2015). it's pretty good. the dramatic high point is when the daughter of the housekeeper gets caught eating the family's good ice cream.

reply

I'm watching Eerie 13 (2013) about killer mutant zombies

Excellent creature make up and gore effects and the small cast is pretty good...on Amazon Prime btw

reply

Ah the trailer looks really good. I'm not sure which crappy movie to watch, yours or finish Killer Movie.....

JoJo Rabbit
I've seen it a few times now, I love the performances and silliness of most of the characters and then there are some jarring dramatic moments. Little Yorki is a pisser, he's fun in every scene.
Rebel Wilson is soooo funny too.
Hitler was never this amusing in real life!
