Why Doesn't Anyone Post in FILM GENERAL?

I tried to jumpstart the discussions in the music area a few months back and I got next to no responses. I just don't think people scroll that far down the page to look around. I guess it's kind of like the people who post questions/thoughts about specific movies who put them in the GD board instead of going to the movie they're talking about.

I'm actually posting on "Film General" because my movie posts get drowned out by trivial stuff, and so I figure I can't get less than 0 on the other boards.

I'll check out the MUSIC one more, even if I can get more on GD... Gotta start somewhere.

I was completely unaware that there was a Film General board.

I shall certainly be visiting that board on a daily basis from now on.

I used to post on the FG board in the IMDb days. But when I joined MovieChat I was advised that this was where most of the activity was.

I think it is the way the site is set up. Those other boards are out of "eye level" when you sign on. No one goes looking.
